We are a family owned business founded in Portlaoise, Co. Laois in 2016.
We started with a vision of introducing African food to the rest of Ireland, most especially, our Irish brothers and sisters that have never been to Africa or tasted African cuisines.
We had doubt when we started. However, we pushed on because in most private events (African parties), we see people (Irish and other European) trying and eating our (African) food. Some were even familiar with the popular jollof rice.
In 2018, we had our first breakthrough, catering for over 500 people in the Laois African day celebration. The feedback was awesome.
In 2022, we won contracts to cater for the African Day Celebration in County Laois, County Carlow, Tralee, Co. Kerry, Dublin African Day Film Festival. We partnered with Laois County Council and had our presence in the World Ploughing Championship in Ratheniska, Co. Laois.
We are qualified and registered to operate in Ireland. We are HACCP level 2 trained, HSE registered and use a professional kitchen in food preparation.
You can trust us to be on time. We ensure to communicate and be honest with delivery time to ensure the expectations of our customers are met.
Communication is key in anything we do. This is why we speak to you in a professional manner and inform you on what is expected on the day.
Let's BRAG about it. We cook the best African food in Ireland. If you want your guests to have the best experience, then we are the number 1 destination.
We source our ingredients from reliable sources in Ireland to make fresh food. We prepare our meal and serve them fresh for guest to avoid food being contaminated.
